Embracing Your Inner Turkey

Dec. 2013
On this snowy, New Jersey morning, I see the wild turkeys journeying quickly through the woods. In the pristine, 8- inch deep, surprise, snow delivery the Universe bestowed yesterday, they scurry along, determined. I am reminded of the journey of all of us during this season. A time of hustling and bustling in the longer darkness until the light prevails on the Winter Solstice, Dec. 21. A time of striving to keep in step with the preparations of the holiday season so we don't get stressed, but also a time of wonder/expectancy as to what's ahead in the new year. A time for keeping our heads held high, one step at a time, as we move forward into more days of light. The turkey, as an animal totem, can represent fertility/abundance, sacrifice/generosity, opportunities for growth and rebirth, but also represents showing our true 'feathers' and shining our own light confidently.  With wishes of much love , light and blessings of abundance this holiday season, I invite you to embrace and radiate your inner sparkle in the year ahead!
~Love, light , shine bright!
